years ago
my world and
life were turned
upside down
One word
felt like a stab in
my heart and
my world fell
apart
On this day

I had to be
stronger than
ever before
because my
heart was left
bleeding and
in tears
On this day
today I am
grateful for
the word
on that day
years ago
On this day
today I have
found peace
at heart
even though
I am still
on my own
Alone but
filled with a
little hope and
